Jake's 1st Birthday!!

Jake's first birthday party was at the Kohl Children's Museum on Saturday May 15th 2010. We scheduled it a few weeks before the actual day to ensure we would only have the one baby there. The theme was cowboy/girl and all the kiddies had their very own ponies, hats and bandanna. The turn out was great and Jake was overwhelmed with gifts. Here are a few pictures from the big event.

Better Late than Never

We have gotten real bad about keeping the blog up to date. With Jake crawling all over the place these days, it doesn't leave us much time for anything. Here are a few recent pics of the little dude from my sweet digital SLR.

July Pics

We all survived our first sleepover this July 4th up at Lake Geneva. Jake slept right through the fireworks! We also had our first babysitter... Jake and Barley hung out with grandma and grandpa while Brian and I went to Bob Chin's to celebrate my birthday and our one year anniversary.

What a wonderful year it's been!

We can't believe it has been a whole year since our wedding. My how the time flies. Thanks to all who sent us their pictures, I put together a collection of the entire weekend for everyone to see. It was fun to look back at these photos and remember how much we enjoyed this time spent with family and friends. I've also posted our honeymoon pics as well.

Father's Day

This year we celebrated Father's Day at Mike and Dona's.

Jake is 3 weeks old!

Jake was 3 weeks old yesterday. He's starting to get a little chunky on his legs and cheeks - but I guess that is a good thing at his age. I included a hard to capture shot of him smiling, his first Dr. outing and a few other randoms.

I also created another slide show titled "Watch Me Grow" where we plan on taking a picture of Jake every week in the same position in his big red chair. It will be like one of those time lapse collages you see on the discovery channel of a plant growing.
